No Carb Sweet Iced Tea
1 quart Iced Tea
1 tbsp SMOKY MOUNTAIN SWEETENER

To make No Carb Iced Tea follow the directions for either an iced tea bag or for instant iced tea to make a quart of iced tea. Add 1 tbsp SMOKY MOUNTAIN SWEETENER to each quart of iced tea after the tea has begun to cool. For 2 quarts of tea, add 2 tbsp SMOKY MOUNTAIN SWEETENER. For 4 quarts (1 gallon) of tea, add 4 tbsp SMOKY MOUNTAIN SWEETENER

Coffee Smoothie
1 tbsp instant coffee
2 tsp SMOKY MOUNTAIN SWEETENER
1 cup skim milk
freshly made ice

Add first three ingredients to a 2-cup measuring cup. Add enough ice to make two cups of ice and liquid. Blend slowly until all the ice is well blended. Pour into glass and enjoy. Makes two servings. Coffee Smoothie is great for something to fill your stomach at 9:00 in the evening when you really don’t want to eat much.

Sweet Mustard
1⁄2 cup of your favorite mustard, such, as yellow mustard, brown mustard, dijon mustard, etc
1 tbsp SMOKY MOUNTAIN SWEETENER

Mix mustard and sweetener together and refrigerate over night. Sweet Mustard is delicious with meats, on sandwiches, or as a dip.

Hot Chocolate
1 cup hot skim milk
2 tsp cocoa
2 tsp imitation vanilla flavor
2 tsp SMOKY MOUNTAIN SWEETENER

Microwave skim milk for about 1 minute or heat on stove. In separate cup mix the next three ingredients. Add the hot milk to the cocoa mixture and mix well.

Three Bean Salad
1 can (15 oz) kidney beans
1 can (15 oz) cut green beans
1 can (15 oz) yellow bean
1⁄2 cup thinly sliced onion
1 tbsp SMOKY MOUNTAIN SWEETENER
1/3 cup liquid vegetable oil
1 tsp pepper
1 tsp salt
1⁄2 cup cider vinegar

Drain the three cans of beans. Add the onions and the beans in a large mixing bowl. Mix well. Add the rest of the ingredients and mix well. Refrigerate over night.

French Dressing
1 can (8 oz) tomato sauce
1⁄2 cup vegetable oil
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
3/4 cup white wine vinegar
1 tbsp SMOKY MOUNTAIN SWEETENER
2 tbsp uncooked quick oatmeal
2 1⁄2 tsp chopped garlic
2 tsp salt
2 tsp yellow mustard
2 tsp paprika

Put all the ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth. Pour into a small pot and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for about 5 minutes. Let cool, put in a jar and refrigerate over night. The oatmeal and cooking are for thickening the dressing with as few carbohydrates as possible.

CHEESE CAKE
6 eggs*
4 teaspoons SMOKY MOUNTAIN SWEETENER
2 tablespoons lemon
2 teaspoons vanilla flavor
4 teaspoon liquid vegetable oil
1⁄4 teaspoon almond extract
32 oz (1 quart) cottage cheese

*reconstituted powdered eggs or frozen eggs may be substituted
Have all the ingredients at room temperature. Preheat oven to 350º.
Put the first six ingredient in a blender, blend thoroughly, then gradually add cottage cheese until VERY SMOOTH. Pour into a long narrow loaf pan. Bake for 45 minutes or until cake is firm. Turn off oven and leave cake in oven with the door open for one hour. Remove from pan, place on double layers of paper towels. Sprinkle top with cinnamon and refrigerate. Flavor improves the longer it is kept. Makes approximately 10 servings. 

LOW CALORIE VEGETABLE RELISH
1 15 oz can chopped sauerkraut drained dry
1 tsp tumeric
1/4 cup red pepper diced
1/4 cup green pepper diced
3/4 cup cider vinegar
2 tbsp SMOKY MOUNTAIN SWEETENER
2 tsp mustard seed
½ tsp cloves
1 tsp cinammon
½ tsp celery seed

Mix all the ingredients together. Refrigerate at least 24 hours. Delicious on hot dog, hamburgers, dried beans, etc.

LOW CARB BAKED BEANS
1/4 head of cabbage chopped
1 onion chopped
1 tbsp vegetable oil
1 16 oz can Great Northern beans-drained and washed
1 15 oz can tomato sauce
1 tbsp SMOKY MOUNTAIN SWEETENER
1/4 cup yellow mustard
½ tsp ground ginger

Brown the onions in the oil and set aside, brown the cabbage in the oil and set aside. Put the beans in a sauce pan, add all the ingredients including the onions and cabbage. Let simmer on low heat for about 15 minutes stirring frequently. Refrigerate over night for best results. Then heat and serve.

EGG CUSTARD
2 cups milk
4 eggs
2 tbsp vanilla
2 tsp SMOKY MOUNTAIN SWEETENER

Mix all the ingredients together very well. Place in a covered bowl. Bake for 35 minutes at 325º in the oven. Refrigerate and then serve cold.
